Hi everyone, welcome to the previously named 'You Choose Youtube' feature. Thanks so much for your suggestions for new names, this one just edged out the others.

I am keen to come up with groupings of things that fall under a certain colour. Eg Pink: Magnolia Flower, Coral, Candy, Flamingo. As I'd like to do a bit more with our colour palette series on Youtube.

It's time for you to submit your suggestions for March by commenting below.

These suggestions will inform my content across all platforms and formats (which will be outlined in the monthly bulletin) relevant for choosing topics to paint on Patreon and on my Social Media reels. I try to include at least 4 of your suggestions for the month. Before commenting please read the bullet points below:

Results will be posted in the March bulletin which is published at the start of the new month

First check on my Youtube channel if your suggestion has already been covered.

I am more likely to choose seasonal ideas.

I’d love a springtime cottage- maybe with wisteria or a climbing rose over the door.

Sue

I would enjoy a springtime landscape with water and a reflection.

Shelley Sas

Spring floral arrangements

Kristin

A basket of easter eggs would be fun.

Kristin

Are you going to assign a color for the month?

Roby

I’d love to paint everyday objects—lamps, a vintage sofa, lampshades—perhaps exploring different fabric textures!

Kathleen

Anything with a house, barn or shed is good for me! With a pink dogwood tree in front!

Marie

Bonsai trees in pots. Signs of the zodiac. Waterfalls.

Northern Nevada has a shrub called the Desert Peach that has beautiful pink flowers (smells Wonderful, especially after a light rain mixed in with the sagebrush)...it with the Sierra mountains would be great.

Ann Marie

Flowers in colorful vintage glass bud jars

March is “Turkey Hunting Season.” They are beautiful birds and I would LOVE to paint any or all of the subspecies of turkey as my husband and 2 boys are avid hunters. I can provide the names of subspecies if interested. The Oscillating turkey from Mexico is especially brilliant w/ iridescent peacock colored feathers.

Ann

Love the spring cottage idea. You could do the same cottage for each season.

Ann

Is it too early for a bluebell wood?

Dalia

The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!❤️

Susan Hammitt

Some ideas for easter cards that are relatively simple. I know you have some already, but always ready for some new. I love gnomes, maybe a gnome on a mushroom. Some that are more fantasy related or fairy tale related for some whimsy. Also I enjoy when you work in Calligraphy.

If you make the study of pink things a reality, perhaps some ballet toe shoes or a ballerina. I could not find any azalea flower tutorials on the channel, but they bloom for me in the spring (U.S.) and come on a range of colors: light and dark pinks, reds, white, purples…

Uta

Ballet shoes, a ballerina or a ballet scene would be gorgeous.

I’ve always loved the start of Spring-how about Forsythia?

Phyllis

I really enjoyed last year’s calendar with a different floral arrangement each month. Maybe do a series like that with whatever is blooming at the time. And I love wildflowers. Always.

I've got a lovely bluebell wood tutorial in my book 'a year of watercolour'

We've done a nice one of those recently in the negative space landscapes

How about insects? There are so many gorgeous dragonflies, butterflies, beetles… I’m a bit obsessed with insects and how gorgeous they are. Museums have incredible collections, often organised in very aesthetic ways… they come in every colour of the rainbow and irredescent metallic as well, we could play with metallic watercolour too?
