After years of messages, comments and gentle nudges… I’ve finally done it.

Line drawing guides are here.

So many of you have told me that while you love building your drawing skills, sometimes you just want to focus on the painting. Or you’re short on time. Or you’re building confidence. Or you simply want the reassurance of knowing everything is in the right place before you begin.

I’ve listened.

From now on:

✨ All Watercolour Challenge tutorials on the Sweet Pea tier will have a line drawing guide available where necessary.✨ All twice-weekly YouTube tutorials will also have a line drawing guide where necessary.

If you’re a Daisy tier Patron (and above), the Youtube tutorial guides are included in your membership as downloadable PDF files. If you're a Sweet Pea tier Patron (and above) you also get the Watercolour challenge line drawing guides included. I've made a new collection called 'line drawing guides' where they will all live. You can print them, trace them, resize them for Personal use only.

If you’re not in the Daisy tier, or if you’re joining me from YouTube, the PDFs will also be available to purchase individually on my website.

Edit your membership on your account page to take advantage of this awesome new perk!

This feels like quite a big moment for me and for this community. My aim has always been to help you grow in confidence and joy with watercolour — whether that means freehand drawing every stem, or tracing the outline and pouring your energy into colour and brushwork. And if you've always loved learning to draw with me through my filmed tutorials, dont worry, I wont change a thing with how I teach!

There is no “right” way to learn. Only the way that keeps you painting. 💛

Thank you for encouraging me (persistently and kindly!) to make this happen. I’m so excited to see what you create with this new option at your fingertips.

I struggled (notice the past tense?) with sketching on my own. Especially on your 2026 calendar. I want you to know that THAT specific calendar collection is what gave me the confidence to approach sketching without fear. I thank you for that.

this kind of response is what I've hoped would happen for everyone, I'm so glad you've built your confidence! Well done!!

I am thrilled to have the drawing guides! Thank you. I struggle to draw anything. I am older, and we did not have art classes in school that taught us how to draw. I appreciate your extra efforts so much. Now, I cannot find the pdf link for the snowdrops in the cup. I found the pdf for the chickens, but not the snowdrops. What am I missing? I am a Daisy member. Thank you!

I absolutely love this!!!! I have struggled as well which made it stressful from the get go. I always give it a good try with several attempts and success on several projects. I also appreciate the darker lines that I can see better on a digital where on the computer the lines are so light it’s hard to see. Thank you for this, it will be helpful to many, and I will always give drawing my best try.

I'm a Sweet Pea membership and appreciate the line drawings to be included. I can only "see" the chicken PDF. Will the snowdrops in the teacup become available soon? Or am I missing the link? I appreciate all that you do to keep us motivated and painting!!

Thank you, I am rubbish at drawing and often feel intimidated, and beat myself up because I can’t draw.

Please can you clarify Harriet . I am on Sweet pea tier but the watercolour challenge pdfs are locked . I can access snowdrops and chickens . From your message above it sounded as though Sweet Peas could access the challenge pdfs included in their membership . Thank you for doing the outlines , they really help especially if you don’t have much time .
