From My Camera Roll (Patreon)

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good week, thanks so much for joining me at livestreams this last week and for sharing your work on Discord, it's so wonderful to see it in more detail!

Ducks!

Last week we had a delightful watercolour hang out painting these ducks. This was the last page of my concertina sketchbook. I'm wondering about painting on the other side of the pages but I'm not sure! You can watch the recording of this back on the Wild Rose tier.

Dungeons and Dragons

It's good to do something completely different every now and then and it doesnt get more 'different' than battling skeletons in an enchanted Lake. Very fun for a few hours on Sunday before teaching the livestream class...

Lovely Livestream class

I loved this piece, it was great to breakdown how to draw the figure and then really loosen up with the rest of the piece! Watch the recording back on the Cherry Blossom tier.

Crumble's Space Suit

Crumble had a minor operation on Monday and has been enjoying wearing these very smart pyjamas ever since! He's healing very well and should be back to his bouncy self in a week!

Plein Air Vlog where I almost lost my nerve!

I really felt the fear when I went to paint for Jacksons Plein Air Day at Hestercombe Gardens. For anyone who feels intimidated about painting in front of people, this vlog is for you, a quiet triumph over self consciousness, coming to Youtube on Tuesday.

Adding depth and dimension

I'm very keen to focus on some of the basics of watercolour on here and on Youtube for a few weeks. It's so important we revisit the fundamentals to keep our technique in check. Enjoy making lollies pop off the page on Thursday!
