Hi everyone, I've been home for just under a week and have enjoyed a lovely few days of birthday fun. It's a testament to how well the Portugal trip was run by the host venue because I dont feel too exhausted!

Home and Happy

If I could put Ant and Crumble in my suitcase, I dont think I'd ever stop travelling but they are the reason I come back home every time. It's been so lovely to come home to them both and enjoy the garden and the warmer weather.

My Birthday!

Ant did a great job for my birthday. It's been great to have a slightly more low key celebration following my 40th festival last year! We had a lovely walk on Dartmoor, saw lots of friends and even got to go to another Harriet's birthday party in the evening!

Birthday Nails

I am really enjoying having nice nails - I was a nail biter for the first 39 years of my life. My lovely nail girl Liv is so creative and it's amazing to see what she comes up with. Choosing these colours reminded me of when I'm teaching colour thoery and how the greatest indicator of a harmonious colour palette is if you simply like it!

We got there!

Ant tells me that in some time zones, this happened on my birthday! For us it happened on Sunday morning. Numbers are silly and it's very unfashionable to care about such things but for me this symbolises a lot. It's the reminder that we have an amazing global community, the core of which is right here on Patreon. So I want to say thank you to you all for being here and painting along with me.
