From My Camera Roll (Patreon)

Hi everyone, it's been a much needed, very quiet week at home for us all. I had a lot of work to catch up on and it was great to have nothing in the diary each evening. We watched a lot of 90s films this week - my favourite for nostalgia!

Solar Eclipse

We were lucky enough to witness an (almost) solar eclipse this week. Crumble and I were out in the garden with the colander and had a great time! The moment it went dark and the birds all stopped singing was an amazing reminder of how small we all are. As I was facing the wall to look at the crescent moon shadows in the colander I saw this wonderful reflection in our patio doors.

Happy Gotcha Day, Crumble!

It marks 7 years this week since we adopted Crumble! Here's to many more years.

A bit of magic

Fireflies were requested on You Pick, We Paint and I had so much fun creating this tutorial for Youtube (on Tuesday).

Conch Shell on Patreon!

This was another You Pick, We Paint request and I LOVED painting this! It's our Watercolour challenge this week and it's a one session tutorial. Enjoy! I certainly did.

Swallows Flying South

It's been quite an emotional time, watching all the house martins and swallows fledge and leave our barns this week. We've watched them build nests, feed their young and finally fledge. I wanted to paint them (but it also happened to be a You Pick, We Paint request too!) This is on Youtube on Thursday.
