Something wicked is coming… 🎃 (Patreon)

Hi everyone, this October, we’re getting a little bit witchy with watercolour.
Every year, as we finish the Advent calendar I'm asked by many of you; can we do another painting challenge for another occasion...this year, I had a little burst of inspiration.
I’m so excited to announce my 13-Day Halloween Painting Challenge, starting on 19th October over on YouTube.
Inspired by old apothecary books, folklore, ancient medicine and a little bit of Practical Magic, we’re going to spend 13 days painting a collection of plants with fascinating (and sometimes sinister) histories.
What is really cool, is this challenge has once again been shaped by you. Your suggestions of poisonous plants, magical herbs, flowers connected to folklore make up the 13 painting projects.
🌿 Paint along with me
Every day from 19th–31st October, I’ll be sharing a new painting tutorial on my YouTube channel.
The idea is to create your own little illustrated apothecary collection, one painting at a time.
And, as always, you absolutely don't need to be an expert painter to join in. These are designed to be fun, atmospheric paintings that you can take at your own pace.
If you'd like to make things even easier, I've created a few things to help you paint along:
✨ Digital templatesDownloadable line drawings for each of the 13 plants, so you can get straight to the painting.
✨ The painted gridA hand-painted grid to help you recreate the whole collection together, just like the one I'm using.
✨ The full painting kitEverything you need to paint along with me, including the paints and brushes I'm using in the tutorials.

If you're planning to join me, I'd recommend getting your grid or kit ordered soon so there's plenty of time for it to arrive before we begin.
The first painting goes live on 19th October.I'll see you there. 🕯️🌿
🎄 And a little early Christmas treat as a way to save everyone a bit of money
I know. We're talking about Halloween and I've just mentioned Christmas, but I wanted to give you a very early soft launch of this year's Watercolour Advent Calendar before I officially shout about it.
If you've bought one of my Advent Calendars before, you'll know that it's 24 days of tiny watercolour paintings, designed to be painted one day at a time in the run-up to Christmas.
This year, I'm making it possible to get your Advent Calendar early and save money by combining it with your Halloween order.
That means you can save on the products, postage and tariffs compared with ordering everything separately later on.
So if you're already placing an order for the Halloween challenge, it's a rather good time to quietly get your Christmas painting sorted too. 🎄
The Advent Calendar is available now as an early soft launch, before I announce it properly.

Halloween first, obviously.
