Hi everyone, here is part two (and tutorial number 300!!!) of our book shop tutorial. I hope you're enjoying painting this building, I really love building up character and softness around the hard, straight lines that we begin with. Hopefully this tutorial will spark inspiration for you to paint other shops you love.

You can find part 1 of this challenge here.

I have provided an accompanying post with a PDF line drawing download for the Watercolour Challenges which you can find here.

Sweet Pea tier members can opt to buy the individual line drawing downloads on a case by case basis. For Wild Rose and Cherry Blossom members the line drawing is free of charge - included in your monthly subscription.

I have attached the reference photo below and my finished painting.

You will need:

your painting from last week

Set square (preferable to ruler)

Brushes I used: Pointed round size 8,4,2,0 (I forgot to mention 8 in the video)

Colours I used for part 2: Pyrrol Orange, Organic Vermillion, hansa yellow medium, yellow cohre, moonglow, burnt sienna, paynes grey, and any colours you want to use for the books!

Dont forget to share your painting process on Discord and on Social Media, tag us @dewintonpaperco!
