Hi everyone, here is a fun but surprisingly useful tutorial. Full of helpful exercises on water control, the human body structure and how to avoid muddying your colours.

It's also to get in the mood for Halloween. I know this festival isn't everyone's cup of tea - I was quite pleased to combine all these useful techniques with a spooky theme so there's something for everyone. I think it's also a fun one to do with kids and beginner painters if you're looking for seasonal crafting activities.

This is a one and done lesson.

You will need:

cold pressed watercolour paper (mine is 9x6 inches)

hb pencil

hard and soft erasers

Brushes I used: pointed round 2, 0

Colours I used: Pyrrol Orange, Opera Rose, Imperial Purple, Moonglow, Aqua Green

Thank you for this challenge. It was really helpful to me. Water control is always good to practice.
