It's all change as we head into November! I loved celebrating Halloween with you all - in the youtube painting challenge as well as in the hang outs, here are some photos of what's gone on and what's to look forward to.
Halloween Hang out
I loved our Wolf painting session at the Watercolour Hang out on the 29th. Thanks for everyone who came along and painted with me. It's such a lovely session where all sorts can happen! This was my favourite of my three paintings (see the others in the carousel above) you can watch the livestream back here.
My first Trick or Treating!
We drove 8 hours(!) to North Wales to spend the weekend with Ant's brother and family. Here I am (Sharon look at my socks!) Trick or Treating - for the first time in my life - with my lovely sister in law Helena.
Halloween Herbology
Well done everyone who painted along with me for the Halloween Painting Challenge, I've created 30 numbered and signed prints of my final artwork - complete with labelled plants, only available here. You’ve all painted your very own masterpiece which you should keep in pride of place, maybe one of these limited edition prints will make a very special present for someone in your life who loves botanical art and maybe even witchy things!
This week on Patreon
I have decided to balance Christmas card tutorials on Youtube with more seasonal botanicals on here so there is something for everyone! I loved painting this piece and I hope you will too. Dahlias and Rosehips in a glass vase is a 2 session Watercolour challenge. The first part coming to you this Wednesday!
Tuesday on Youtube
I loved our valentines patchwork heard earlier this year and wanted to use the same technique for a tree. I think it works well! Although it's not the fastest card making tutorial! Paint this for someone who's worth all those hours!
Thursday on Youtube
On Thursday we have our vlog from my day painting in Nottingham at the Rooted in History Flower Festival!
A bouquet commission
Earlier in the week I painted this bridal bouquet for a birthday present. I loved taking the rime to slowly paint it over two days and it inspired this week's watercolour challenge. The first Wedding Anniversary is 'Paper' so I get commissioned quite a lot to paint bouquets. It's such a nice gift idea!
