Watercolour Challenge 55 (Patreon)

Hi everyone, welcome to all our new Patrons, I hope you're finding your way around my Patreon ok. Dont forget, you can always send me a message if you have any specific questions. Discord is by far the best place for comments and tips on any paintings you've done as a result of the watercolour challenges as you can post your pictures and see how each other are getting on.

If you are new to painting then I highly recommend going back to the first watercolour challenges and working through the first through to get your basic techniques going. Then you can pick and choose whatever you like!

Today we're in the initial painting stage of our new composition.  This window scene first needs basic washes to build up the background before we put in the details and flowers.

Your drawing from last week.

Paint. Colours I used: Burnt Sienna, Paynes Grey, French Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, Cobalt Blue Deep, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Red, Yellow Ochre

Paint brushes, nothing too tiny, there isn't much detail today.
