Thank you for your fantastic tutorials and teaching style Harriet, you truly are gifted as a teacher (I love that your tutorials teach techniques that we can apply to create our own work and that you encourage us to do this :) ). My suggestions/hopes for this month are: - a colourful galaxy - a wishing well (with flowers of course) - a carousel - a scene with people (silhouette?)

My ability and experience come up short with some of the suggestions so a tutorial on a simple floral composition would thrill me. I loved your pumpkins and actually did it and framed it! Holiday themed tutorials would be great too. You are so talented - I love all of your tutorials, thank you!

What about doing something on a large scale? It could be anything - a single flower, an abstract, anything - but focusing on how to work on a big piece (like 16”x 20”+). Should you do a sample? How do you move from a sample to a large piece etc

Hi Harriet, thank you to ask our point of view. I'd like to paint landscape especially the mountains with the rock, and waterfall, castle, architecture painting, sunset.

Marie Folkes

Hi Harriet, thank you again for another month of learning, I finally think I'm improving! So things I still struggle with strange perspectives like an open gate, I've bought book but my post-clot brain can't take it in from writing long enough to paint it ha ha!! Your compositions come so naturally or so it seems on film, but I'm guess you sketch-book things out, any of your thoughts on approaching composition would be lovely to hear! Thank you!! Oh and you haven't had a holiday...you are allowed a break from us!

April Haxby

I'm happy with whatever you do as your work is always beautiful and I love your interpretations. I'd love a tree with a swing, or a misty autumnal landscape. But happy with anything.

Painting dimension of a landscape or room

de Winton Paper co.

I think pencil drawing will always be quite minimal with my work as I'm first and foremost a watercolour teacher but we do already have some nice house painting tutorials in here which begin with quite detailed pencil drawings.

de Winton Paper co.

This is a nice skill to work on.It's something I talk about every time I do a tutorial on a flower arrangement but I'll add it to the list

de Winton Paper co.

This would be a nice adaptation of the latest watercolour challenge piece!

de Winton Paper co.

What a lovely array of things. I've got a plan to do something that incorporates lots of these things!

de Winton Paper co.

Ah thank you Marie! Yes I'm not too good at getting instructions from books, I like an actual demo!
