I would love to learn how to paint Delphiniums and Moss Roses in a pot.

Georgia McCarthy

Not traditionally "beautiful" but where I live near the Severn Bridge we often see infrastructure like pylons, wind turbines or the bridge against beautiful dramatic sky's or hills

Sarah Bennett

Good morning, I’m very new so you may have covered some of this before. I would love to know how to paint oriental scenes like waterfalls and zen gardenscapes, including koi, Japanese acers and cherry blossom. Also anything on garden birds particularly Greenfinches and goldfinches would be useful. Plus I’m still not clear on how to use shadow in paintings. Thanks Harriet really enjoying being part of cherry blossoms. Thank you

Megan (Megabyte)

Forgive me if its been done, but I'd love to see a coastal/beach scene

Megan (Megabyte)

There's a goldfinch in Harriet's BBB book, and New Botanical Painting has a cherry blossom. Hope that helps :)

Angela

Thank you Christmas card ideas so great. I have been asked to paint a friend a shiny bauble with a reflection of our village in it! Yikes 😱. So any cards with that theme would be most welcome 😊 also love landscapes with cottages in (street) and a lighthouse coastal theme. Thank you 😊

Karen Dua

Hello I know it’s not the time of year but I’d love to paint a fushia And maybe bluetits on a bird house. Thank you. I love your painting Harriet. 😊

1) Ideas for a winter wreath with holly, berries, poinsettia, nuts, pine cones, etc. 2) A winter landscape. 3) Ideas for how to paint a manger scene.

Jodi Richards

I would love to paint a barn/farm scene. The tree study you did has been amazing. I’m still not too good but with practice I’ll get there.

Elena

I don't have any idea so would be glad to be surprised :) plus we have a lot things to paint from previous lists I think.

Jeanette Deverson

Like Megan, a beach scene for me too. It’s a 2 minute walk to my seafront and we have a pebble beach (sand when the tide goes out 😀) with concrete and wooden groynes. It would be lovely to know how to give the impression of pebbles.

Julie Coopersmith Purther

would love to see your process for painting a white dog :) always a challenge for me!

Caroline Wasterlain

In the winter/holiday content, I would love to learn how to create that "glow" effect for lights, especially lights at night. I have tried and it is so difficult to even know where to start! Also how to shade snow, use negative white space to do snow on trees, etc. Winter landscapes and cute little wintery festive town scenes would be aahhh-mazzzzing :) (They use all these components)

Missy Smith

Would like to learn how to paint a pet from a photo

Lynne Morea

Thank you for everything you do. I’d love a tutorial on a winter landscape.

Priyanka Patel

Food is always a fun subject, like sweets/cakes - the vegetables tutorial was great! Thanks Harriet

Judy Erickson

I love the flowers that you paint. Any kind will do. Maybe a nosegay bouquet?

Megan (Megabyte)

In addition or contrary to this idea, just general water/ocean tips would be great. I'm struggling with liquids.

Rebecca Collins

I’d love -as others have also mentioned - to learn how to paint glistening/rippling water scenes. Thanks Harriet!

Laura

Christmas tree farm with glowing lights and snow!

Laura

Kate Tully

Water drops on flowers and leaves would be good

Tanya

Mountain's landscape, or any others landscapes, sea, forest etc... Thank you to ask our suggestions.

de Winton Paper co.

check out the starry night christmas card tutorial as it shows you how to do this

de Winton Paper co.

Thanks Kathy, I've added these to my list for seasonal flowers when they come into bloom to teach

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Sarah, yes Megan is right, my new book has lots of birds. And there are a few good shadow introductory tutorials on my Quick Fixes playlist on my youtube channel

de Winton Paper co.

Lovely ideas, wow your friend is asking quite a challenging commission!

de Winton Paper co.

Thanks Karen, I try to keep things seasonal so I will add that to my seasonal flowers list

de Winton Paper co.

Yes, with the watercolour challenges we will be getting to more detailed animals and on youtube I'm going to visit simple cats again and some dogs!

de Winton Paper co.

Yes this is a lovely idea, definitely a good one for a new christmas card idea.

de Winton Paper co.

Yes we're definitely going to have a month or two soon where we work through the many great suggestions that haven't made it to the top of the list yet

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Bonnie, on the watercolour challenges on Patreon we have lots on glass and on Youtube in the flowers and foliage, I have a few loose watercolour flowers in vases

de Winton Paper co.

ooh yes, that's a useful one. White animals in general (not a shameless plug but if you have my new book Birds Bees and Blossoms there is a polar bear and a snowy owl in there which cover these issues.)

de Winton Paper co.

Yes! Right back at the beginning of Patreon I did a livestream for everyone, when we were trialling the cherry blossom livestream idea and we did a lovely snowy landscape using all the techniques you're enquiring about. It looks like I didn't record that one so I will do a card design covering these techniques

de Winton Paper co.

I've got one already on Youtube of me painting Crumble, but I will be getting to more of that on the watercolour challenges with our current animal painitng

de Winton Paper co.

noted thanks Rebecca, we have a few watercolour challenges as well as some water themed saved highlights on instagram stories but can get this onto some youtube content too

de Winton Paper co.

Ah this will come up when we move from pets to people in the watercolour challenges
