Hi everyone, we are starting a new topic this week; bouquet painting! It's a different type of approach to flower painting and a great challenge. I've attached a reference photo that I have interpreted this bouquet painting from.

Flowers I spotted, there are definitely others in there: nigella, delphinium, daisy, rose, peony, eucalyptus, olive branch, ferns. If you can identify any others put that in the comments below!

Welcome to all our new Patrons, I hope you're finding your way around my Patreon ok. Don't forget, you can always send me a message if you have any specific questions. Discord is by far the best place for comments and tips on any paintings you've done as a result of the watercolour challenges as you can post your pictures and see how each other are getting on.

If you are new to painting then I highly recommend going back to the first watercolour challenges and working through the first through to get your basic techniques going. Then you can pick and choose whatever you like.

This is a private youtube link which only you sweet pea and cherry blossom patrons have access to.

You will need

Watercolour paper (I used 6x8 inches)

a pencil

Your usual watercolour kit: Colours I used: Sap Green, Cobalt Turquoise, Green Gold, Burnt Sienna, Paynes Grey, French Ultrmarine Blue, Hookers Green, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Orange.

After watching the video...

Get stuck in!

Have a wonderful week! I cant wait to see you share your pieces online on Discord or on Instagram, don't forget to tag me so I can see them!

I'm so excited. I was literally looking up photos of floral arrangements last night. I find I can paint the flower heads & leaves fine, but working out how to arrange them sometimes baffles my ASD mind.
