I’d love to see butterflies, botanical or nature journaling page, more buildings, country gardens, anything floral!

Priscilla Basilio

I would also loooove to see some butterflies, maybe some cocktails! Oh! A bearded iris maybe.

Carol Barnard

Hi Harriet could I suggest a clematis growing up and over an archway or an Obelisk. If not for YouTube maybe for Patreon Cherry Blossoms?

Avril Wright

I’d love cocktails and maybe some of those gemstones you have painted. Also more buildings

Jacqui Baldwin

I would love to see something in miniature

Carol

Your tennis shots have got me thinking that I would like to be able to paint some little book marks or cards that would appeal to my young nephews who are into all thinks sport from tennis, cricket, rugby, football to surfing and windsailing - even a bicycle would be great!

Kate Tully

More light through trees please, also dragonflies, damsel flies and more detailed leaves.

Linda Moore

In tennis season I'd like to play with fun Pimms/strawberries and cream/tennis images.

Kerri Fair

A stream or brook(can’t get the water right or direction to show movement or perspective). Maybe a picnic scene with a river?

Sophie

A garden shed with plants pots, flowers, shovels....

Chantal A

I second a stream or mountain brook, but with a lovely sky of brilliant sunset with hues of opera rose and warm orange tones.

Amy Johnson

Stargazer lily in chinoiserie

Wendy Sinden

A night time landscape, my husband took a fantastic photo across the river on our trip to the Christmas markets at Hamburg the contrast between the sky and church lights is soo captivating. Don’t know how to upload it though?

Seniz

Thank you for the lovely tutorials Harriet! A bicycle with a basket full of flowers would also be lovely.

Debbie V

I’d like to paint some whimsical birds, lady bugs, butterflies, bees, etc

Carole Edain Brulé

I'd love dewdrops on flowers and/or sunsets and sunsets reflected in water. Thank you! :-)

Debra Broido

How about clematis climbing up a porch?

Valentina

I'd love to learn more about how ti paint leaves in different position, curled up, half covered, which parts are light and which are dark, etc... just to get proportions correct

Lynne Morea

A stack of vintage suitcases or old books.

Jana

How about succulents, cacti, or different varieties of them? I can't remember if you've done the Northern Lights. A camping/outdoors scene? Love the idea of trails or streams.

Linda Bloom

I still love the flower paintings best! Lily, another rose, hanging basket of flowers, wild geranium, blooming hosta plant, single peony, maybe some herbs in the garden like comfrey, also variegated coleus.

Tammie

I would like to paint “art supplies” to frame and hang in my studio. A series of pieces that would involve various forms, lighting, and painting techniques. Maybe this suggestion would be better for a challenge or painting over a few sessions, rather than YT.

Kathrin Dieter

I would love to paint a half timbres house and maybe a cottage garden or a fence covered with clematis or roses or vines.

April Haxby

Like the idea of a stream that others have mentioned. Or canal with a bridge.

Lisa Spencer

I’d love an antique fountain or wall fountain with moving water 🙏

Beate Spindler

Thank you so much for all your tutorials. I loved painting the puffins, koi fish and the last challenge: the bouquet of white flowers (awesome). When it comes to wishes, I liked your miniature paintings, and I could imagine (miniature) water birds such as a gray heron on a stone in a river, a gread crested grebe or maybe even a king fisher in his natural world.

Victoria Young-Katzman

Birds, In trees, on rocks, on the ground, in water anywhere. I have painted with watercolor for years and I can not paint birds.

Victoria Young-Katzman

Also LOVED that flower bouquet Cant say enough good about it. but composition of a painting is also something I would to like to get a concept of Thanks again

Kristin

A waterfall or more animals! I can't wait to do the puffin tutorial.

Lauren Watt

Something appropriate for a card or expressing your own feelings when someone is grieving. When cheerful flowers aren’t quite right but you want to give them/ paint something beautiful for hope. Maybe a grey sky, with a dark woodland. Stormy ocean? Anything that sparks is your creativity really and think it would be great for expanding mental health repertoire. Loving all your landscapes at the moment. Winter in Australia so it’s lovely to be going back to autumn leaves and campfire tutorials. Thank you so much for your videos.

Jodi Richards

All great suggestions. Landscapes are what i am working on presently so i would like to add that to the list

April Haxby

Just wondering if you have ever done a tutorial, Harriet, where you show how you clean up your paint palette between paintings and how you manage to keep all your colours so clean. Do you wash away all the little wells of mixed colours after each painting, or wipe them up with kitchen towel? Just wondering as my palette always looks a right old mess after I've finished and yours always looks so clean. I'm a bit of a neat freak normally, so I wonder how you manage yours? Sorry if you have already done this, but I couldn't find anything in the list of videos. The video you did of setting up your palette is really good.

Carol Barnard

Could we have a tutorial about painting variegated ivy please

Tonya Poindexter

I’m a beginner and struggling with grasses so anything that emphasizes that. I’ve tried a stone fence with poppies in front and was happy with it except for the grass. ❤️

Emelie Karnevi

A pond with waterlilies, if that’s not been done. :) walked through a botanical garden this week that was full of them. Or a climbing rose on a wooden fence. The flowers are so delicate e.g rosa helenae. 🪷🌸

Hi Jana, I've got a nice Northern lights scene in the illustration playlist on Youtube and a few cacti in the flowers and foliage play list

de Winton Paper co.

We've got quite a lot of bird painting tutorials in the watercolour challenges, worth having a look back through

Ok fantastic. I also recommend investing in a Rigger brush, they are so good for grasses
