We've also just done October floral word art last week. We also finished the Garden Shed in the watercolour challenges and have moved onto another much requested topic: tile patterns!

I’d love to see a tutorial on painting woodland animals (fox, squirrel, deer, badger, hedgehog), something related to day of the dead would be really cool too

Jessica Schwarz

I would love something like the fox wreath but more christmassy. I know it’s super early but would love ideas for Christmas cards and such a wreath would be amazing.

Laura Simms

Also… Halloween dogs like the Christmas dogs you did, and an autumn front door with pumpkins and such

Angela

Autumn front door sounds lovely idea x

Avril Wright

Some more tiles and borders. Love those. Maybe how to do a Christmas card print fold etc?

Kathrin Dieter

I would love to paint a path in a forest. I’m struggling with the perspective. An autumnal forest or as a precast I would love a winters snowy forest!

Juli St

Christmas florals, floral embellished letters. I'm here for as many florals as I can get. I love your florals, all your art really, but FLOWERS!

Priscilla Basilio

I’d love to see how to paint mist over a field. I was driving to work the other day and I saw a deer in an apple orchard and the mist was settling around him. It was magical!! Also how to paint filigree scrollwork.

HEATHER DRAPER

How about a cyclamen plant in a pot? They are so lovely just now and can be on a lace tablecloth.

Angela

Autumn “shelfie” also sounds lovely.

Anita D

I would second this request, in particular, the lace

Anita D

I too struggle with the perspective in a scene like this, so I second this request!

Louise Thompson

I guess it’s the time of year to start thinking Christmas cards so maybe a wintery scene or a wreath? Basically anything wintery that can be sized to fit on a card

Patty Nio-Woods

Agree with anything wintry that can fit on cards. Thank you. Love your videos Harriet!❤️

Lori

A field of pumpkins, Autumn scene with a waterfall,Halloween dachshunds.

Linda Bloom

Flowers! Maybe a holly branch

Julie Evans

Agree with a wreath or anything wintry that I could use on my cards

Annick Van De Wiele

I would like to learn how to break up a reference photo so to know what layers to paint first and how to define your colors therefor... I don´t know if I´m explaining myself well enough. I know it goes from light to dark to build up. But I feel like I miss something when I try to divide a picture in paintable pieces...

A rustic wooden wagon snuggled in a country setting and filled with haybales, pumpkins and gourds.

@emporteplume

Would be very helpful for me also

Karen

Christmas cards would be great..also bubbles for the Christmas tree. They are fantstic as a gift for Friends/family. Another thing but regarding patreon, maybe It Will be useful If you do an Index to be always at the firts post so its easier to see the contents and go there.

Kate Tully

A snowflake(s) and using spat

Kate Tully

that should say sparkly watercolours

Cheryl Gibbs

I'd love what you did last year . . . 9 Autumn icons on a single sheet of paper done in metallic watercolor paint. Could you do that again using different icons?

Gwendoline

I would love to see a pumpkin patch 🎃

Laura Petrosian

Autumn landscape with mist - mountains, forest lane or a field, haunted house, rainy day- maybe at a lake or pathway.

paulette cassidy

I am in the southern hemisphere Australia so christmas for us is hot ,so some christmas ideas for our climate would be appreciated as well .

Seniz

A card design for Hanukkah would be lovely to see. I'd like to give cards to my Jewish friends this year to be honest :)

Suzie Truffles

I love your illustrations, could we do some of those as well

ABIGAIL G.

I would love to see a red poodle! They are beautiful dogs and a great fall color! The miniature poodles are the best! 🥰🐩🥰 Thank you!

ABIGAIL G.

Red poodles please!! They are perfect for autumn! 🐩❤️🧡🤎💛🧡❤️💛🤎🐩

Natalie Sanders

Hi Harriet! What about several children in various Halloween costumes out to trick-or-treat on a spooky moonlit night?

sanjana rao

Although it seems out of season, would you be able to accommodate a marigold flower? It kind of fits in with the orange and yellow theme of October 😅

de Winton Paper co.

Yes it's a fair point. Anyone who wants to paint cards would be getting on with it early.

Laura Simms

Oh now adorable!! Photos please!

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Annick this sounds good. We do this every now and then in the watercolour challenges so I will add this to the list.

de Winton Paper co.

Ooh this would be fun. We did a wheelbarrow in Spring but a seasonal version would be good.

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Karen, thanks for this. At the moment searching with keywords is the best way. I will see about adapting the challenge titles.

de Winton Paper co.

We've got a nice snowflake tutorial in the illustration playlist on youtube

de Winton Paper co.

We've got one in the flowers and foliage playlist on YouTube! Check around this time last year

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Lynne we have a pine cone tutorial in the flowers and foliage playlist on youtube

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Seniz, thanks for this suggestion. I'd love to get a bit more detail on the kinds of things you'd like to see.

de Winton Paper co.

I try and paint flowers in the season they are in but it will go on the list!

I love all the autumn 🍁 colours but it’s spring here on the other side of the world. We have just come out of a very wet winter, lots of floods and people loosing their homes. Im looking forward to some warm sunshine. So I guess my suggestion would be a lovely spring garden. ☀️🌞☀️🕶️

Cheryl Gibbs

So funny that I've never heard this word before until this week . . . and I've seen it four times! xoxo
