Today we’re painting the meadow thistle!

Colours I used: Green gold, alizarin crimson, imperial purple, sap green, paynes grey, permanent rose and opera rose.

When drawing in the spikes on the thistle be mindful of anchoring the spikes up from the base just like you would petals. This helps you form a consistent pattern.
