Watercolour Challenge 158: Aspen Tree Landscape (Patreon)

Hi everyone, we have two weeks now of some one-off seasonal tutorials just for you on Patreon! It's nice to have a break from the long form topics before we dive back in in November.

This landscape painting was a request in the You Choose Youtube feature by quite a few of you. When I started researching the topic I couldn't believe how beautiful the colours were! I love painting this and I hope you will too.

You will need:

A5 piece of cold pressed watercolour paper

colours I used: Prussian Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Moonglow, Green Gold, Yellow Ochre, Paynes Grey, Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Orange, 

Brushes I used: Large pointed round size 12, pointed round size 8,6,2,4/0, Rigger brush size 0

Masking fluid

ruler/set square
