Watercolour Challenge 162: Part 2 of painting the Basilica! (Patreon)
Content
Now we can actually grab our paints and get started.
This was FUN, please don't worry, this may look a bit intimidating but that's only because we've been ever so clever with how we paint it. Hold onto the reference image from Watercolour challenge 161.
You will need:
your drawing from last week
kneadable eraser and hard eraser
Colours I used: Buff Titanium, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Moonglow, Paynes Grey, Burnt Sienna
Brushes I used: pointed round size 2, 0, 2/0
I can't wait to see how you get on with this one, I really hope you have a go because you will be amazed at how the simplistic marks can transform into amazing detail!
Don't forget to share your pieces (work in progress or finished) on Discord and if you're sharing on social media don't forget to tag me @dewintonpaperco and/or use the hashtag #dwpcchallenge so I can see your wonderful work! Enjoy!
