Remember when Kabuto was doing the info cards in the chunin exam it showed Gaara completed an A rank mission so im assuming his siblings have done the same so this is perfect timing saving them. Yes. This is the last arc before Shippuden. I think episode 135 is the last one. After that it is basically 60 episodes of fillers. I mean you can watch them but they are not that interesting and all the other people reacting to Naruto skips them. After the arc is finished the only episode to watch is 220, the last one which provide some buildup for Shippuden. But don't worry,there is enough action in Shippuden to make. up for all the fillers.
