Yes, Killua had a needle that his brother Illumi had implanted in his head when he was young to control him, making him obey everything Illumi taught him even more. Apart from all the manipulation, torture, and training Killua had to endure as a child, of course. That's why Illumi would always appear in Killua's mind in dangerous situations. But he is free now.
