They have already explained logia before, NO SPOILER basically there are 3 types of devil fruit powers Logia, Paramicia and Zoan Logia is considered to be the stongest kind of devil fruit because it makes the person completely fluid and almost invinceble like Eneru or Crocodile or Ace.. Paramicia are the most commen type of devil fruits, the users have powers and can change their bodies depending on there power but can still get hurt like normal people,- for example Robin, Buggy, Luffy....... Zoan devil fruit can change/transform there bodies into something else like chopper or Piere ( hors/bird) ...

to further add, logia is a power related to an element and allows the users to become that element, like smoker becoming smoke, crocodile becoming sand, and ace becoming fire. Zoan is an animal type devil fruit, like chopper and pierre who can turn into a horse and that one guy from choppers island who turned into a ox, and the bird and jacket from alabasta.
