We are going to Tokyo and Kyoto, each for a week. Osaka for a day trip. Where did you go?

Tokyo: Immersive Fort is pretty cool! You have to more or less sign up in person to do the Edo experience - and that was the best one. It's a "living play" you're (sort of) part of. We enjoyed making rings together at MITUBACI TOKYO. Small Worlds is awesome if you're a miniatures fan. Of course, the Tokyo Museum is incredible and the Imperial Palace is awesome. Kyoto: The Bamboo Forest was #1 for us, and it has some of the coolest shrines. Nara (an hour away) is worth the visit to see the massive Buddha and feeding the deer. Getting a dinner or drink by either major river is also amazing
