Polar Bear Update (Patreon)

Greetings Explorers!

We've had a busy week on this end and we're still catching up from all the excitement.

First, Liberty is no longer a part of the Nerdy Show Podcast Network. We are still friends with the Nerdy Show staff and we will continue to create quality productions. It will just be under the Fool and Scholar banner. Those of you who listen on iTunes (or shows that get their information from iTunes) will have likely noticed 50 'new' Liberty episodes in your feed. This was our big migration from Soundcloud to Libsyn (our new host). If you go back and listen to Season 1 of Tales from the Tower you will notice the biggest difference, as I had to completely re-record every introduction sequence for that season. Otherwise we made no revisions to the actual episode content of any season, except shortening the credits and introductions for things that are no longer relevant (i.e. our Kickstarter event). The switch to Libsyn was a fairly time consuming three month undertaking but it's finally complete!

Next we're proud to announce that the AudioVerse Awards are live. We've been nominated for almost every category: http://www.audioverseawards.net/

Please take a few moments to vote, as it's an audience-picked award.

This year we're also participating in the '11th Hour Production' representing Team East Coast, USA. We're working with other podcast creators to write, record, and produce a story in the month of October that will release on Halloween. We look forward to sharing the final story with you at the end of the month!

Finally, the Utah Zoo just contacted us and said that they'd help us record Polar Bear audio in January... This means that we'll very likely be working with Nora the Polar Bear!!! She's a celebrity in the polar bear world (ala Lil' Sebastian), and we thought you might like to know a bit more about one of our future cast members, so we found and watch the above video. It's adorable and will bring a tear to your eye by the end.

Have a great weekend!
