Walking on Ice (Patreon)

A few episodes of the White Vault features the sound of our team walking on ice and rock with metal cleats (called crampons). Anticipating that we'd need this extremely unique sound, Kaitlin and I (Travis) spent a few hours at Kerið, a volcanic crater lake, during our Thanksgiving trip to Iceland.It was extremely windy, so only about 10% of the audio was usable, but you'll hear our walking sprinkled throughout various scenes in future episodes, starting in Episode 9!
