Two new Patrons joined our team today and we're now official less than $50 away from our next goal.

We're so excited that we wanted to share the brand new art for our upcoming Patron-exclusive mini-series Artifact!

The art was created by Kaitlin Statz, who in addition to writing The White Vault (and Liberty!) is an archaeological illustrator (and cartographer). When examining artifacts in the real world, archaeological illustrations are created to help scientists convey artifact detail in printed journals and with limited illustration bias.

That's one of my all-time favorite art styles from when I was a kid. I have no idea what the name is, but it's where little dots would be used to make up the image in books I would read from the 70s and 80s. Love that stuff!

It used to be used for illustrations in every text book and fiction book I read in the 80s and then it just sorta slipped away at one point. Happy to see it again!
