We are actively undergoing what we believe to be a targeted digital attack against Fool & Scholar Productions and us personally. Our social media accounts have been (or are at risk of being) disabled by the hackers, our primary computers are gone, and we have lost our ability to promote Riku Cave. We are still in full lockdown, fighting to get control each day. Please help us get the word out by sharing your thoughts online and using #DontMindPod if you enjoy this episode <3 Thank you all for your words of encouragement. -F&S

(I've posted this on an earlier Fool and Scholar post but I thought I'd repeat it as it might help some supporters who are wondering how to help.) I was gutted to learn you had been hacked and that the problem is ongoing. I know from another post you are not able to promote Riku at the moment. I am not media savvy but want to help so I asked AI what I could do and it gave me a few ideas which I shall try and paste here so other people might use the same tactics to promote Riku. 1. The Apple Podcasts Boost (Most Important) Apple Podcasts is the biggest driver for podcast charts. High engagement here helps push Don't Mindinto the "What's Hot" or "Featured" sections automatically. Open the Podcasts app (the purple icon already on your iPhone). Tap the Search tab (magnifying glass icon) at the bottom right. Type in Don't Mind and tap on the show's main artwork page. Tap the "+" (Plus) sign in the top right corner to "Follow" the show. Scroll down past the episodes until you see Ratings & Reviews. Tap Write a Review, choose 5 stars, type a quick title (like "Incredible audio drama!"), and write a sentence or two. Tap Send in the top right. 2. The Auto-Download Boost Downloading episodes tells the algorithm that people are actively listening. On that same Don't Mind show page in Apple Podcasts, tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner. Tap Settings. Make sure Automatic Downloads is switched ON (green). 3. Sharing via Text message If you have a friend or family member who likes good stories, you can text them a direct link in two taps: On the Don't Mind page, tap the three dots (...) in the top right. Tap Share Show. Select Messages and type your friend's name. It will send them a neat little clickable preview link!

Also apparently downloading the episodes manually boosts the algorithm apparently "2. Download the Episodes Manually • On the Don't Mind show page, scroll down to the recent Riku episodes. • Next to each episode title, you will see a small three-dot menu (...) or a grey downward-pointing arrow. • Tap that arrow or select Download Episode. • Why this helps: Apple tracks how many downloads occur within a short time window. Downloading the whole batch at once creates a "spike" in their data."

Thanks! This is a nice summary of how our audience can help us out on Apple. Rating and Reviewing the show, and sharing it via word-of-mouth is a huge help to growing the show.
