Hey Everyone,Travis here.  We are wrapping up this half-season of Tales from the Tower, going out with a HUGE bang.  I just wanted to let you know that we've had a really long last couple of weeks finishing up what will easily be the largest episode we've ever created. It's going to be one hour and thirty-five minutes. That's FIVE TIMES the length of a normal episode we produce. Additionally, there is zero narration, meaning that the entire story is told as a pure-form audio drama where you're living in the moment, with the characters.

By the numbers, Tales from the Tower: Happiness features:

81 tracks

64 gigabytes of STEM audio (the average episode is closer to 5 gig)

55 Written Pages of Script

16,371 Words

42 Acting Roles (not including many additional non-speaking roles)

12 Songs created by 7 Composers

We are fortunate to have worked with so many talented individuals to bring this story to life, despite the fact that it is still "just a single episode." I've been working on this episode for over 7 hours every day for the last week (waking up at 6am, working on my day job, then editing Happiness until midnight) and today (Day 1 of mixing) was a much needed break from editing and sound design.

With any luck we'll have Happiness up here early tomorrow afternoon, a few hours ahead of everyone else. We're going to take an extra day to recover... Then we're off to explore new worlds in VAST Horizon, banish evil on Dark Dice, journey through 1700's China in The White Vault: Imperial, and recap Season 1 and 2 with songs in The White Vault musical!

WOW! Thank you both, as well as all of the cast! I can’t even imagine how much time and energy this took.... and I’ll second the recommendation for an adaptation of your work to the screen. All of your series would function well as ongoing series. Especially on a streaming network. And I am so EXCITED for VAST Horizon! ❤️ And thank you both for putting so much effort into these productions, not just in the production quality and storytelling but the copious amount of research and plotting that must go into each series. Well done!

Kaitlin does SO much research for each of our shows and we're really glad that you notice :) We're deep in sound design for VAST Horizon and can't wait to share it with you next week! It's going to be new and bold
