Victory Lap and Musical Update (Patreon)

Greetings Friends!

We have some updates for you and a few small celebrations that make life a LOT easier going forward.  First: This week we released an episode EVERY DAY for 3 days in a row. Tuesday was VAST Horizon, Wednesday was White Vault: Imperial, and Thursday was Dark Dice! On top of that, we have not missed a single release date since before we launched The White Vault S2 in October!!! I know that some of you might see us as top-tier professionals with a perfect work/home life balance and a master plan on how to get everything done on time, and while pieces of that may be accurate, it has been a real challenge juggling the season finale of TftT (Happiness) being 90 minutes in length, with launching VAST Horizon, with weekly releases of Imperial, and surprise monthly summonings of Dark Dice. Also throw in the mix of live conventions like PodX and Podfest and you have our busiest release season ever finally behind us.

On the same levels of productivity, we finished wrapping up sound design on Imperial last night, and it's off to mixing. That means that we're finally able to give (almost) all of our focus to VAST Horizon and finishing up the White Vault Musical in time for hitting 350 Patrons. Speaking of the musical: We recorded live cello (Sam from Marsfall), violin (Steven Melin), and accordion (me) this week and are in the final phases of recording. You can hear a short accordion clip in the audio above.#SpitTakeWarning: Do not drink while listening.

As for VAST, we're about 1/8th of the way through Episode 3... and by request I've spend some time looking for software that will allow me to livestream the computer audio (so you can hear what I hear, and see what I see) which will make the livestreams much more interesting for people. I'll be stress-testing the technology sometime next week and if it works out I'll try to schedule livestream edit/sound-design sessions with few days' notice. There's also the matter of Season 3 of The White Vault, which were hoping to finalize the cast for this weekend...
