We have many little victories and it's important to acknowledge a few of them. We've been extremely busy of late and here are some really cool developments from this week alone.

First, urgent business: As of 1:00AM (the early morning today) I finished the premix for VAST Horizon 9. It's off to be mixed by Strader, who will have a mix for us as soon as he's partially recovered from a cold. On a romantic note, Strader is getting married next week and he has assured us that the wedding will not impact our episode releases. (I'll be next to him at the wedding as the best man just to be sure)

Now for the really big news you've been waiting to hear... The White Vault S3 is being sent to the cast for recording... As of this moment only two people have read the script... This is going to change as of tomorrow and we're excited to bring new characters to life in a very short amount of time.

Kaitlin, Eezo, and I also did something weird today (for us): We drove an hour away, worked with a professional photographer, and had a photoshoot. The most professional photos we have of ourselves are our wedding photos and now that we're truly entering the strange new world of 'Why yes, we are professional creators' we really need to look professional. Some of you reading this may gloss over this bit because it's not really 'news'. It's an expectation that 'professional creators have cool headshots similarly to how most action heroes in movies should be able to fire two guns while flying through the air,' but its a very big deal for us. We don't get to see any photos for a few weeks, but the experience was a positive one and we're excited to look like we belong on the roster for the Austin Film Festival or NY Comic Con.

On a musical note, Steven and I are almost ready for the big choir recording on Sunday... The White Vault theme and the VAST theme are both going to be enhanced for future seasons with actual vocals from this session, and we're very excited about it.

Dark Dice is also getting a song out of the session, which we've been working on and retooling behind the scenes. The lyrics (not pictured just yet) are praises to various D&D gods your parents warned you about in the 80's/90's and they will be sung in a mix of Infernal (the fictional D&D language) and real Icelandic. Steven made a quick video of our current progress:

The Audio Verse Awards opened their public nominations for 2019, and we've been given numerous nominations in virtually every category, for all of our shows, which is really cool. There is a public voting period next month, and we'll remind you when that gets closer, but for now we're just so happy to see so many of the people we work with getting recognition for the hard work they put in on our shows and ones we work alongside. You can see the nominations here:

Finally, Liberty comic fans have something to really be happy about. This week, after almost 3 years of nonstop work we've sketched the final page of Liberty: Deception. This 600 PAGE epic will tell stories of the great Archon as well as the tale of her greatest nemesis: Investigator Tertulius Justus. We still have about 30 pages left to ink, and another 100 left to color, but we expect to complete everything no later than Spring 2020, with sizable releases here every few months, starting in December.

We take our sleep very seriously, haha. We just don't stop working when we're awake, unless we're cooking.
