Hey Everyone,

We've had another extremely busy week where we forgot it was the weekend and kind of worked right through it.

The Call to Action: Please Follow Kaitlin on twitter and Instagram.

Rose City Comic Con ended on Sunday, and we were delighted to meet so many new faces, fans, friends, and to hang out with Sarah Rhea Werner (Girl in Space) for a few days. We passed out over 1600 stickers, met 40+ local listeners who didn't know we were local, sold ~100 Liberty graphic novels, sold out of CD's for our first ever audio drama: Legend of the Boar Knight, and even met Weird Al (who signed my accordion)! But before you go and think that this was a vacation, consider that we were at a booth talking to convention goers in roughly 10 hour shifts for three days while working at night to get VAST (ep 9) out on time. I caught a bit of a cold and took the next day and a half off to recover, once VAST was released.

During the same weekend we also directed and recorded a 40 person choir in Hungary for our shows via remote session. This was an exhilarating two hours (6am-8am our timezone) where we literally worked to the last minute of the session to get every single note we wanted done with about 40 seconds to spare! While none of the songs are complete just yet (we have instruments to record), but here's a very private sneak peek for you White Vault / VAST / Dark Dice fans.

We are also well into recording episode 1 of The White Vault - Season 3 and have begun editing it... Can't wait to share more in the coming weeks!

Thursday, I (Travis) flew out to West Virginia, about 8 hours of travel each way, to meet with our mixing engineer, Brandon Strader, who got married. (I recorded custom wedding music, and coordinated the wedding ceremony). It was really nice to wish him and his wife congratulations, and throw a combined bachelor/bachelorette party around a campfire in the woods with friends, smores, and kittens. I also got to hear a few local ghost stories from the Strader family, visit 'Shades of Death Road' (in PA, not NJ), edit VAST Horizon, and go bowling. I remember being much better at bowling.

Kaitlin also worked through the weekend, getting started on outlines for new seasons, and coordinating more for our upcoming October 19th Live Show in Cambridge, MA. She also retooled her professional website and made subtle improvements to all of our social media pages. Again, we're still new at being full time creators, but we've discovered that in order to be taken seriously, you're expected to have a twitter and an Instagram with x-thousand followers. We've been working to get her there, so if you use either please add/follow her.

Also, the two of us (Fool & Scholar - and our dog) had a big meeting to discuss plans for the next season of Liberty. In a recent poll, many of you voiced what you enjoyed and wanted more of, and we spent a few hours coming up with ideas that should make all of you happy. We've narrowed it down from eight (Atrius math joke) ideas to one we really like and are still working through an outline. We used a white board and everything.

We have also been hard at work on putting the finishing touches on Domain of the Nameless God, our D&D 5e adventure. The top image of this post is a sketch by Allen Morris for the book's cover. We uploaded the latest version here, which has art on virtually every page. As you can see from the above image, the formatting and HEAVY edits (by a professional editor) have made it so we now match the format, tone, and quality of actual D&D books. We are excited to premiere the book (publicly) next month at Podtales!

Finally, I wrote a guest article contribution that I hope to share in the coming days about the time it takes to create a fully edited fiction podcast.

Cheers for now!

The choir sample sounded so good!

Oh no! When did Domain of the Nameless God go to the $10 tier? I've been waiting for updates for so long but now I don't have access to them.

Fool & Scholar Productions

We typically push our books to the $10 tier when they're 100% complete, but after a bit of discussion with Kaitlin and myself, we'll keep it at the $5 level. PLEASE Enjoy the updated version :) We'll have the final tweaks (a few image swaps, a back cover, and minor formatting changes) probably in the next 3 days.

Oh thanks! I appreciate it, I was thinking I'd just have to wait for the final release. I'll definitely be buying and telling everyone else I know interested in horror and sanity games to get on it as well when the official release launches. People definitely want more sanity mechanics than the core rules offer. Looking forward to digging into the new information.
