"Rest" by Allen Morris (Patreon)

####Spoilers for Dark Dice ep 7: The Great Gate##############################################During our show, we lost a player character and it was a pretty big deal for us. We commissioned art of the funeral, wrote a funeral song, and sang it in Icelandic (language of Dwarves) w/ a real harpist. The above is the full finished artwork. It was a pleasure to work with Allen, who we'd met at a comic con a few years back.

I had a clear idea for the composition ("top down shot of the body staring at us, as its being lowered into the grave") and Allen refined the concept to feel a lot more emotional. The piece has had the honor of being showcased in Spectrum Fantastic Arts (one of the top honors in the art world), and prints are available in metal and paper form.
