The 2019 Vacation (Patreon)

Once upon a time, in a hole in the ground, was us! Last week we turned off our computers, drove 5 hours into the mountains of Washington state, and lived in an airbnb modeled after a smaller version of Bilbo Baggin's house from The Hobbit. This was our first vacation of 2019 that we didn't work during, that we didn't write or edit, and more importantly, that we got to spend together as a family. We had no wifi, no phone service, power was supplied by a generator, food was cooked on a portable stove, hot water existed only in a teapot, and books were our sole entertainment beyond hiking, talking, and eating.  Travis read Gideon The Ninth & Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, while Kaitlin read The Lord of the Rings, and Eezo went on daily hikes through the snow.

So that's been our week. We had a difficult time with the drive home between snow, ice, sleet, and heavy rain on various back roads and some of the less-well maintained highway sections on the journey home, and spent most of Friday replying to messages and emails.

We have a few pieces of new content that we want to start/finish/announce, mostly pertaining to explaining how we create our shows, but also blooper episodes, Dark Dice, White Vault, the new season of Liberty, bonus VAST content (audio & visual), and our new bonus mini-series (we haven't forgotten). This week we have family in town and it's Hanukkah, so we'll keep announcements & work on our end fairly minimal, but we should have at least 3 new things and over an hour of audio content for you before this time next week.

We both sincerely appreciate your patience with us taking a short break and look forward to the amazing things we have coming soon!
