End of February Update (Patreon)

A lot has happened since the last update (this is draft 2 after my computer turned off and scrapped the previous draft), and we're excited to share all the cool things we have going on!

First, the mundane: We finished putting our tax information together! So boring, so time consuming, yet so necessary.  I also received my new headshots so I can resemble a professional! I'm proud of the above picture in particular, within which I look like I'm about to start chanting something in Portuguese. We also sent out a BUNCH of emails over the last two weeks to get the ground work in, to confirm a few events we'll be speaking at for 2020. 

Where are we going? Many of you are already aware that we'll be at Podfest Orlando next week, and Emerald City Comic Con (we have two panels but don't have a booth this year) the following week, hosting panels. I'm actually the event organizer for AudioDramaCon (within Podfest). We are close to confirming a half dozen additional events around the country and beyond the United States as well.

The White Vault. It's been a bit emotional saying 'goodbye for now' to our Base Camp Piedra cast. As the season wraps Tuesday (for you guys, tonight), we're excited to share just how much work went into episode 3.10, and how the seasons really tie together. There are many unique elements to this episode in specific that you'll likely appreciate. -Also, this week we selected the final cast member of Iluka, and we'll be recording tomorrow night. I cannot express how exciting our new miniseries: Iluka is going to be without spoiling anything, so let's move on to the next topic. -We updated the website with the new cast bios! We suggest that you don't look at the website until you finish episode 3.10 to avoid potential spoilers. www.TheWhiteVault.com

Liberty - The Tower. We are at full steam recording cast members! This story will take place after a particularly brutal war with the Fringe. If you follow Liberty on twitter (or facebook) you'll see a short story unfold over the next two weeks about the war and its aftermath. We also have made great strides on the art side for the graphic novels. We're about 3 weeks from finishing color & revisions on volume 3 (of 4) realistically.

VAST Horizon - Kaitlin is hard at work every day (even weekends) to finish the script for season 2. It's going to be different from season 1 in a lot of ways, and we are excited to share more of the VAST universe very soon.

Dark Dice - We released an episode last week and are preparing for the next one in about two weeks. As an episode title "Worse", it aptly describes what was, for many of the players, the most traumatic episode in the series. Horror wears many faces, and not all of them need to be disgusting or even monstrous.

Personally: We had to cancel our vacation to Japan. There are too many uncertainties surrounding the virus. There's no sense traveling if the places you want to visit are closed. In fun news we've beat the video games Overcooked 1 & 2, and while I play Fire Emblem: Three Houses Kaitlin has been protecting settlements in Fallout 4. We've also been reading a lot more. Kaitlin finished the Lord of the Rings (followed by an extended edition movie marathon) and I'm on book 3 of R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt novels. I feel like a super-nerd who now knows that Sverfnebli is the plural for Sverfneblin, and that Lolth doesn't always mean Lloth. Kaitlin now knows the many names of everything from the Tolkien universe.

Anyway, it's been a fun update! I'll get episode 10 up just as soon as I get the final mix from Strader!
