Greetings Dear Friends & Supporters!

Thank you for waiting for this April update. We're still speeding along at Plaid Speed on "Operation Entertainment". However, we want to let you know where we are, as well as some new things we've added to the mix.

We are no longer working with Himalaya on VAST Horizon or any other F&S projects. Simply put, our contract expired and we feel that at this time we would rather make our own way in the world. We are grateful for the time we had with them over the last year, and we still use their app, but we are excited to see what we can do on our own to grow VAST Horizon. In the very short term, this also means that we're reaching out to find sponsors for VAST Season 2 that are a fit for the show.

On the topic of new things, new skies, and new destinations, we have invested a few hours of our lives into adapting our shows for Youtube! It's a lot more work than you'd expect (mostly just watching videos export, downloading, and uploading), but we're are gradually adding our full suite of shows to our YouTube page. If you'd like a simple way to help us, just give our page a Subscribe to help others find our shows. You know, the normal YouTube spiel.

Another great way to lend a hand is with Reviews for Good. This is happening through April 30th. If you review our shows (or any others) on https://www.podchaser.com/ you are donating money to Meals on Wheels!

Speaking of writing, we just re-released Liberty: Deception Volume 1 on Comixology! This is in preparation for the release of Volume 2, which will be available (on Comixology) in May.

Operation: Entertainment

VAST Horizon - The scripts are done and sent off to reoccurring cast members. We are looking to cast the remaining ~60-70 roles on Thursday and we are still accepting auditions for the next 24 hours.

Liberty: The Tower - Part 3 released last week, and Part 4 is on the schedule for release as part of our 'regularly scheduled programming'.

The White Vault: Iluka -  Part 3 releases tomorrow, and Part 4 is on the schedule for release two weeks after that. We anticipate listeners to have a LOT of feelings about this one.

Dark Dice - Primary recording for the entire season is done. 'Domain of the Nameless God' will conclude at 16 chapters, and we're pushing to get an episode out every two-to-three weeks. We don't get paid for these episodes, and we're looking into ways to change that so we can allocated more time/effort to it. We also have two(!) bonus episodes in the works - one for Suicide Awareness Week, and one for Pride Month. More details on the Pride Month episode in May, after we can confirm some of the amazing details.

Something Different - We began work on an unannounced audio drama in 2015 that we pretty much immediately tabled. Travis wrote a script, deleted it, stabbed the computer he wrote it on, dropped the harddrive down a flight of stairs, and gave its charred remains to Kaitlin. The two of them turned those ashes into an outline, and locked them away in a vault. Half a decade later that vault was opened by archaeological science Masters and podcast writer Kaitlin Statz who is now in the process of deciphering the intent behind the words and if the story can be told.

The White Vault: Season 4 - Kaitlin is filling in the details of the outline before writing the individual scripts. We expect that getting some of our actors into a studio will be a difficult prospect due to COVID, so we're trying to start this process early.

We'll be back soon with new stories!

If someone is interested in applying for a role, where should they send a demo? And do you have a script of lines you would like in the demo?

I enjoy Dark Dice and White Vault quite a lot, so it's satisfying to know that DD will end and that WV will keep me in suspense for a few more months, while Iluka will keep me on the edge of my headphones each week. I also appreciate the goofy asides, such as WV The Musical (and Peter's reprise last night), and that older one about penguins operating an ice cream shoppe... I appreciate the effort y'all are putting in. Thank you very much for all of this.

The future certainly looks interesting. I wish you all the best with all the future plans!! I've clicked on subscribe on the YT Channel. Having another way to listen to your work is always good :) (And oooooh auditions ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , lol). And, thank you for all the work: the newer Liberty, Iluka, the Twitch streams, etc. It has helped me pass the time better during total self-isolation.
