Five Years of Storytelling (Patreon)

Hey Friends, Fans, and Family
Today is a busy day here at Fool & Scholar Productions HQ. Kaitlin is writing/scheming the new season of The White Vault, Travis is designing sounds for Iluka, Eezo is napping next to the fan, our contractor Steve is patching up our porch, and our friend Luper could be by with cupcakes at any moment now....
We have had no less than five meetings in the last seven hours to talk about marketing, plot points, artwork, actors, upcoming technical limitations, branding, social media management, and fellow creators we admire. Somewhere on the other coast, Marisa is editing dialogue for VAST Horizon, and Steven is writing the music for The Boar Knight, while across the globe eight actors are recording for VAST Horizon, and three artists are designing new visual pieces for our stories. It's been a busy day and we still have a lot to do before settling in for taco night later.
Five years ago we could have never predicted this drastic shift in our lives from where we believed we were headed. We were living in Oxford as Kaitlin was getting her degree in Archaeological Sciences headed for a life in academia, and Travis was working on Liberty during the evenings after his sales job. Eezo wasn't even born yet. Think about how horrible that sounds. An Eezoless world...
We just had an idea for something to do together as a couple, a story we could tell. We wrote the outline together, asked our friends to lend us their voices (Kaitlin and Travis literally made up 50% of the cast for the first two episodes!), we recorded the sounds of footsteps in our Oxford-sized flat, ran around town recording elevators, voices, and doors, and by August 25th we released our first episode to the public.
Five years have come and gone, and we have grown so much since then, but we remember and appreciate the many journeys we've been through along the way; the people we've met, the late-night releases, the live events, and most importantly, you. We know that everything can seem difficult right now as we all socially distance ourselves and wait our way through this pandemic, but we hope you know how thankful we are to our supporters and listeners, to all the people who helped make this possible. This is possible because of you.
Thank you for your continued support and allowing us to share our stories. We'll put in the work to make this dream a reality, so, please, keep tuning in.
Sincerely,
-Travis & Kaitlin (and Eezo)Fool & Scholar Productions
