Mid November Updates (Patreon)

Hey Friends,For those of you not on social media, we've been a bit more radio silent than normal since just before the start of The White Vault, Season 5. We were on super-crunch mode for September and October and it finally caught up with us as we caught a flu that put us out of commission (Travis especially) for the last few weeks. (Thankfully, not COVID.)

This week we're still not back at 100% but we're pushing to catch up on everything we missed, and wrapping up side projects we've pursued for awhile now.

What kind of projects?

We further organized the RSS feed, so now all The White Vault content is more or less organized by S1-S2, (Dark Dice), & S3+, with the appropriate miniseries and bonus episodes appearing in the feed at the appropriate positions. We will slowly put all of The White Vault together over the coming months, as the story comes to an end.

We updated our release schedule (visible on Patreon). Please look at the new schedule for any updates that interest you.

We made a fairly large number of small Tag and Text updates our Patreon posts to simplify searches. We also fixed a glitch where some content wasn't available to the proper tiers. This was largely thank you for your help, as many of these issues were brought up in your notes & comments.

We are doing some fairly subtle adjustments on a number of older episodes for all of our shows.A Few Examples:+ Earlier this year, we remixed Critical Research, episode 1.+ Over the summer, Season 3 of The White Vault had multiple scenes adjusted to boost the audibility of vocals, normalize the overall episode volumes, etc.+ Episode 14 of Dark Dice had a particularly strange issue whereby the final release's mix sounds 'fuzzy' (the low range of frequency is entirely missing). As we're unable to locate any version without the 'fuzz' and will remix it over the next few months.+ The End of episode 1.10 of VAST Horizon sounded drastically different from the start of episode 2.01, but they're supposed to be part of the same "scene" in the story. Therefore we completely redesigned the last scene at the end of Season 1, Ep 10.+ Episode 1 of Dark Dice - the vocals were accidentally overprocessed (it sounds like we're talking too close to our microphones). We're doing a complete remix, which should fix this issue next week.+ We discovered a number of muted sound effects in Episode 1 of The White Vault (!) which we intend to unmute and re-release at some point in November/December.

We also have a number of extra projects we've added to our slate, which we'll be releasing over the next few months:

1. Dark Dice: We Do Not Fear The Dark - Travis got to be the DM on an official D&D Beyond game! It was a lot of fun and we're turning the recordings into a proper Dark Dice episode.

2. The Boar Knight - Earlier this year we announced that we would be creating an All Ages fantasy adventure...and while it fell by the wayside, work has started again!  The first script was completed last week, we cast a number of familiar voices who will record over the next month, and we're excited to share the adventures of Nathaniel the Boar Knight (and his friends) with you in the future!

3. Liberty: Deception - Volume 4. This month we are concluding our graphic novel series - Liberty: Deception. It contains over 150 pages of amazing new artwork that we're very excited to share with you!

4. Vast Horizon Short - While finishing up Liberty: Deception, one of our artists created a short comic for VAST Horizon that we're also excited to share soon! We think it will bring a smile to your faces. (Please note, we have NO plans to make another comic. This VAST Horizon short comic was made only as a bonus.)
