Music: Realmweaver's Prelude (Patreon)

This song has been a long time in the making, with instruments originally recorded before the first season of Dark Dice. It's a guitar song, performed in a classical style by my bandmate Paul Mella (aka Dr. Kovski from Liberty). We have had this song "in the can" as an instrumental for years now, but never got around to releasing it. I'd been working on lyrics for years, and was inspired when Gaelle finally said she was going to sing her brother to sleep, and gave a general context for the song in-game.“Long ago a hero was born, in the shade of Eastwood.Vowing to bring peace here to our land, joining the realms like old fables.Journeying far, with valor in heart. Be not afraid and sleep well."

Holly has a WONDEFUL singing voice, and a great sense of pitch, and we had fun putting this together in mid 2021, while she was upgrading her recording setup. I stripped down elements of the original song I'd recorded as well, so it would feel more like a solo singer-songwriter, removing additional guitar, glockenspiel, piano, and accordion accompaniments."Realmweaver's Prelude" (Gaelle's Song for Glom) - Written and Arranged by Travis Vengroff, Performed by Holly Billinghurst, Guitar by Careless Juja
