Music: Beneath the Ice (Iluka Variation) (Patreon)

Every year we adjust our main theme, and this year's theme "Beneath the Ice" is a remix of all previous seasons and stories. We used strings from Avrum, percussion from Imperial, the choir from S3-4, the synths from Season 1-2, and much more in this 128 track song.

Additionally, Brandon Boone recorded a new set of synth tracks, worthy of being their own version of the song, in addition to a fully orchestrated version of the song. We had originally envisioned just using the orchestral version OR the synth version but found that the combination of all of these elements was too exciting not to combine. At the very last minute we also added the Iluka theme at what we thought would be the end (1:02), which helped extend the song significantly for the Documentarian's extended introduction in episode 5.01, and bridged the different stories together quite nicely, as they are revealed to be very connected this season.
