Shipping Update (Pins) (Patreon)

Hey Friends,Quite a lot has happened in the last month! We want to make a full post to highlight some of the exciting updates, but first we have an important post regarding the pins that many of you are still waiting for.

As some of you are already aware, we've had an issue with mailing pins through the United States Postal Service, in which over 700 of our pins were returned (twice), despite paying for appropriate shipping, and providing the correct addresses. After discussing our situation at length with the local postmaster we learned that the total thickness of an envelope must fit within a designated metal slide. If the envelope fails to fit, it risks being rejected, billed at a higher cost, or broken open. Our pins fit when fully pressed, but don't if they wiggle loose. This is what triggered extra shipping fees in some instances.

In working with the postmaster we were able to find a solution that would cost less than $5 to ship each pin (again), and avoid any fees on your end. Last week we began the process of shipping the remaining returned pins for the third time. We've been shipping between 50-80 per weekday, and expect to have the final ones out by the end of the week.

Please only use the Patreon messaging feature, as it allows us to address all the problems on one platform. Messages using other platforms may get lost under our workload.
