Happy New Year friends :)

We've reached the end of 2023 and are excited to start a new year of adventures and creativity! Some of you may already know of our plans for the year ahead: a new Don't Mind adventure in April, a second season of The White Vault: Goshawk in October, and (of course) more Dark Dice! But that's not all. With us, it never is! We're still planning to release our first print RPG book Unnatural Horrors, we're expanding the Dark Dice soundtrack, and we're working on a few top secret things we'll talk about more in 2024. Our full public release schedule is always available on our Patreon's 'about' page.

First, as many of you are probably wondering, the Goshawk patches have finally arrived! There were a few delays in production to ensure that both birds looked as fierce as the original mockup (the bird on the left was insistent on making a goofy face in the first four attempts), but the first group of patches has arrived safely in Japan. Per our last post, we'll be mailing these out over the next few weeks from Japan, Germany, and the US.

Bonjouro: A big takeaway from the last few months was that while some of you appreciate getting a personal note from us when you join our Patreon, this takes a LOT of time to do, and many of you would prefer more content that everyone can appreciate over these personalized videos.  While we always had fun making the videos, we also knew that with less than a 30% open rate, we needed to reassess the use of our time. We've updated our Patreon welcome emails and tier descriptions to reflect this change, and we hope you can all understand. We still look forward to more Instagram and YouTube live events in the future, though!

Personal Updates: We had family visit this month, and it was really nice to see them! We mostly spent our free time furniture searching, finishing incomplete odds and ends in our new place (we have WIFI now :D ), finding replacements for the things we lost, and getting our respective office spaces up and running to their fullest. We're in the first days of the "new normal" now that Kaitlin has a desk, and Eezo is used to the Roomba (R2-Clean2), and while we're still sorting some boxes (mostly paperwork), we've had time almost every night to just relax and watch TV  together for a few minutes. We even took a 4-day vacation to Portugal in November with Enrique ("Konvo" from Dark Dice) and his partner (see above photo)!

We've had a LOT of back-end work as well. Earlier this year we expanded our full time team to include Shion Francois (Associate Producer / "Jason" from The White Vault), and he's been making the RSS feeds cleaner, fixing our Youtube video descriptions, and organizing the mountains of e-paperwork we've accumulated over the years. Dayn (our other full timer) has also been doing a phenomenal job on Goshawk, particularly the soundtrack. We're really grateful to have such a talented team, and we are reminded every day of just how lucky we are.
