DevLog #26 - Release Incoming (Patreon)

So what are you getting and when? That's the great question before us. I will try my best to answer those questions here.

Emily's Path .2 Release

This is going to beta on Friday evening or Saturday evening. The April scenes are complete, the Emily scenes are nearly done. One minor Emily version still to be rendered and the end sequence. This will be very quick.

All animations are of the new standard. I have not revised previous animations to the new standard for this release.

The target goal for release for all supporters will be Sunday or Monday. I am confident I can hit this goal.

This will be released to all Patrons as the base version as previously discussed. All future versions will be an update, not a full download.

The gallery flags are getting their final pass as well as the traits. These will be visualized at the end of the game to ensure players know exactly what they've unlocked.

There is a few small items I'm trying to work in, we'll see if they make into game. It's too early to tell but it's something I want to do.

What's left to do?

What I spoke about above and some polish. We're nearly there. Since this is the base build for all future versions is really important to get this one pretty solid without issues. I think we're nearly there.

When do I get it!? More importantly, what do I get!?

Sunday or Monday afternoon is the targeted release for all tiers. $5 will get the base version plus Diane. $10+ will get base version with Diane Chapter 1 and 'Meet the Robinsons' part 1. $25 tier...

Why should I stay a $25 supporter?

I am not announcing what it will be but there will be a new side story for $25 tier patrons on this release. It's short but well worth it, in my opinion. This will bring diversity to the character group. As always, all content is skippable but adds to the story moving forward. You'll see some familiar faces.

My buddy wants the free version!?

The free version of .2 will be just the base story with a DLC of Diane. It will be release after the Patron releases. I'm thinking until .3_part1 comes out.

Patches and Content

If you are not currently someone who uses discord that's okay. .2 will require it's own patch that will be available immediately on Discord as of uploading. If you don't have discord, please message me and request the path. It will be provided to you via direct message!
