College Kings 2 Act I Major Update Coming in June & switching to Episodes (Patreon)

Hey everyone!It’s been over a month since the release of College Kings 2 Act I and we’ve been able to collect tons of valuable feedback from all of you! As a first commitment to improving the gameplay experience of the Act, we released the CK1 save transfer patch.

We’ve seen your positive response to this first step and we’re excited to bring a major update to College Kings 2 Act I in June! We’ve refined the entire game from start to finish and added new scenes, new choices and a brand new ending! With deeper relationships, more cohesive storylines and a satisfying conclusion, we hope to show that we listen to your feedback and there’s nothing more important to us than making sure you love the game.Initially this update was scheduled for late May, but due to the sheer volume of new content, we’ve decided to reschedule it for June so we can really make the game worth replaying.

With this update, we’ll rename College Kings 2 Act I to College Kings 2 Episode 1. All future releases will be known as Episodes. This will hopefully simplify some of the confusion internally and externally, as well as allow us to improve the story structure in our releases.

Very much this. The MC's inability to lock into a more committed relationship with Riley despite many natural opportunity in the plot to do so has been frustrating going back to at least the European trip.

MC doesn't seem to be able to get into any committed relationships, with the possible exception of Lauren.

I hope the deeper relationships aspect means that it won't be just fun and games only and that we can date a girl if our choices allow it

thank you steve for the update. just 1 think i dont get, why make ck1 free on steam? i mean i paid for all the acts and now the whole game is free. seems unfair, and i know its a good move to promote ck2 but still man.. if only i waited.

reply to all comments - Id also say its Riley constantly being pushed after other girls instead of accepting mc's love (yes i know she loves polygamy ) BUT after all the ups and downs its high time they got it together proper.. same for the other half hearted LI's.. not to mention get the retro refix team to backrack the relationship too for some replay enjoyment fixes

Hey, honestly I believed it'd would allow the game to be played by more people, which would mean more funds for development which would mean more and better CK content for everyone. I did not properly understand the importance of valuing our initial buyers and that's on me. Sorry about that.

Sometimes it's hard to port (if not because of phone hardware limits then something less obvious). This is why there is no Android Master Race and why I dropped out of college (no need for real one when I can just play an AVN set in one) and sold my car (no need for that either if I'm not going anywhere anymore) to buy a PC.

Hi all. So is CK part one still available to play? Steam says free to play but no option to download. I joined your Patreon and have downloaded the launcher, is that where I download part one and two and the acts? I've clicked the download button on bottom right but nothing happens.

Well, everything is dirt cheap or free if you wait long enough (including $1000 phones that can be found for $10 used on eBay in 10 years). Which do you have more of: patience or money? Lack of patience costs extra, that applies to everything. Without donations it wouldn't exist at all, plus I'd rather wait a few months as chapters are released instead of possibly a decade for the whole game (the free Steam version probably isn't the final one). What I would have done was just put a free demo/ch1 on Steam for advertising purposes and if you wanted the rest you have to come here or Subscribestar. Steam takes a ridiculous 30% cut anyway (compared to 8% here or 5% on Subscribestar) so it might as well be free there.
