Here's my first cohesive lance painted up. The Banshee and Raven joining the Archer and Hunchback I finished previously.

Wanted to go with a simple scheme that pops, that wont be a pain to add more mechs to in the future if I want. Though I may go for a new scheme for my next lance. I've still got two clans mechs in another scheme that could use 3 more buddies to form a star.

Nice stuff, Anthony. I like the placement of accent colors down the torsos too, which can be problematic. These look reminiscent of the Crucis Lancers - is that what you were going for, or were you going for an unaligned Merc unit or something?

Some people say I go overboard on the shader washes. I say I go just the right amount of board. My mechs come out looking dirty and used... like any self-respecting war machine. :)

Yeah I typically say go heavy. Get em dirty. The only thing you have to watch for is over darkening your whole paint job.
