Bishops design rampage continues. The Warrior VTOL.

New flavor... flying thingy. Personally I never see anyone use VTOL or Aerospace on the table, but I know some of you do. The Warrior makes a nice first dip into that realm with a unit that will work well as a scout/spotter, light harassment, opfor fodder, or yet another piece of military base garnish on the battle map.

Who's ready for ultra chunky thicc plastic rotors? :D

I have used them and love the updated rules on them. I’ve used them in classic and in alpha strike.

I love this! Aerospace fighters were always a bit too far for me, rules-wise, but VTOLs, combat vehicles, and battle armor are my combined-forces go-tos.

Henning Boessler

Looks cool. I'm interested in the mini and the durability of those rotors. That's a point why i didn't buy IWM VTOLs...rotors would always deform when transported and finally snap.

Shouldn't get snapping out of plastic, but high chance of them arriving with some bend. The it's time for hot water trickery.

Matthew Shaw

Same flight stand/base as the Shilone?

I'll probably get shot for this. I use them in AS they are quite effective.

lemme tell you something, this thing looks amazing and I can't wait to get them to add to my metal ones. If you haven't used them in game you will be surprised at how good they can be. Their Movement and Range of the base model makes them super hard targets in 3025 and even beyond that, they can pop behind hills or woods on the way to battle as well, so can be completely hidden, basically at will, disappearing. I like the H7C which is the LRM 10 version, you can do the base's job a lot better, you just need to be closer. People scoff at 5 point hits, until they are in the back, and every time you try to get them out of behind a hill, they redeploy to the other side of the map on you!

Lovely work. Nice to see even the landing gear. Nice!

How hard was it to find the right size for scale but still have it playable? Helicopters in real life are deceptively long.

Joe Wright

Gimme them T H I C C rotors daddy

Maybe the 2D render is messing with my kinesthetics, but wouldn’t the Autocannon barrels interfere with the refueling probe?

Probe would extend forward more during fueling, but for added safety they could choose to aim the autocannon to the left to get more space. The rotors are always the big scary if the pilot overshoots and dips.

Matthew Morris

I painted my first Warrior black with a white underbelly. With the refueling probe and retractable landing gear... my inner 80's child is ecstatic.
