Well the cat is out of the bag on pack names and arrangements courtesy of GenCon. So here is the "Battlefield Support: Assault & Cavalry" pack.
Demolisher, Schrek, Condor, and Pegasus. Two of each.

GenCon had production test castings that confirmed friction fit pose-able turrets. Most of them work amazingly, while a few (typically smaller ones) are lacking some friction, risking losing a turret if you flip your minis. I'm sure some of you will enjoy magnetizing them to prevent this. The Mobile HQ that was on display had a turning laser turret AND turning coms dish!
I'm not sure if the Condor's machinegun pod will pose. I hope so though.

Enjoy!

Nice mix, everything is useful, nothing overpowering.

TIM STRAUVEN

The reseen Condor is starting to grow on me..

Steven Cross

Looks good! Still think the Condor's gun needs to be longer rather than a pie cannon but she's a beaut otherwise.

Fherot

Agreed on the Condor. Just needs a sliiiightly longer AC5 barrel and it would be perfect. Still looks great though.

Anonymous

Well... that super stubby barrel of the Condor probably fits an AC20, but honestly I love the look of it on this vehicle. Wouldn't change it. I love the two very different shapes of these hovers. Of course I do have to beg for a J Edgar, sorry!

Steven Cross

Yeah that things barrel is bigger than the Demolishers. If its an AC-5 its firing shells shaped like pressure cookers and about as big as one at people :s

Kanrei13

I'll be getting at least two of this set!

TIM STRAUVEN

With the contents of this set now confirmed and the Objectives set being mentioned on WolfNet Ep.50 (Mobile HQ, Mobile Long Tom and MASH), that leaves us with the Vedette, SRM & LRM Carriers.. and possibly the hinted at Manticore for Battlefield Support Set 4 ?

Swen Decker

I start to get a sense that the coming KS will not be as cheap as i hoped. Well played Cat, well played.

ShimmeringSword

Haha, cheaper than the last KS at least, unless you're looking to super bulk up on vees and weird mechs.

James Abbot-Cole

I suspect many will be interested in the Vehicles. Depends on what the stretch goals will be I guess.

Fherot

I just realized how badly I’ve been missing a Partisan/Party Van mini. Please tell me it’s coming.

Swen Decker

Weird mechs is my safeword. Besides, who does not need a company of vedettes?!

Peter Shah

Are the sizes to scale with each other? From this angle it looks like the 35 ton Pegasus is nearly the same size as the 80 ton tanks.

Fherot

Doesn’t bother me or some vehicles would be so small it would be impossible to mold good details into them. Thinking about you, Savannah Madter.

ShimmeringSword

Two factors in that comparison. First is this angle doesn't show heights as well. But more importantly, hover tanks have a large amount of volume that is empty space in the hover skirts, and the Pegasus has a huge hover skirt. Instead try looking at just the Pegasus central hull and turret, then compare that to the assault tanks, it lines up pretty good.

Kyokyodoka

I know it might be a bit early to ask: But any idea what the Kickstarter extensions might result in more sculps beyond what we have here? I don't know how it works so I was just interested.

Kyokyodoka

No matter the case, great sculps, I will most definitely buy at least one of them myself

ShimmeringSword

We're supposed to stick to a plan this time haha. Many of the sculpts shown here and in photos will be stretch goals for everyone to hit, with the expectation that you'll all hit them. Then rather than add even more minis, there will be other items to unlock.

Roysan

I will be getting some sets of these for sure!

Carlos Sempere

While that sounds logical, you guys have a better track record of bringing extra mech packs into production vs. fulfilling the less-straightforward stretch goals that got added at the last minute last time. So expect us to keep lobbying for more minis =p.
