Here's the Whitworth final 3D model. Sculpted by Aaron Harris.

Such a huge improvement over the old mini, but still quite recognizable I think.

No doubt this fire support trooper is gonna be filling out many forces. What mechs will you group it with?

Chonkworth* Looks really good even though It’s the “Mom: We have a Dervish at home.” Medium.

I like the idea of swapping out the LRMs for SRMs and call it the Blenheim.

Vast improvement! Can't wait to see what the Rec Guide will do for the modern variant.

Whitworth, Trebuchet, Catapult, and Archer. It will be dubbed the "Macross Missile Massacre Squad" lol

Not so easy to close in on the fire support when you arrive to a wall of medium lasers. Not to mention the hail storm on the way in.

Once we get the IMP I will be able to recreate my Beta Regiment 3rd Battalion Red Guards Wolfs Dragoons with all new sculpts! I can't wait!

Put it with Heavies as their bodyguard. The Whit has no trouble keeping up with them and is actually more mobile since it can jump over things that would slow the Heavy pack down. A fast light or medium tries to flank, the Whit can be there to keep it from getting close enough for accurate back shots on the big guys. If you want it in an actual fire lance, then here is a good one: Stalker 3H (LRM 20s), Archer 2R (or 2S depending on what house your doing), and a Valkyrie to help out the Whit, and also to jump ahead of the pack to scout.

Biggest improvement is the slab of armor over the waist coupling. It makes the mech look tougher than the mass would indicate while still giving it a visual that implies agility. Really the whole me h gives the impression of that short squat high school wrestler who can take down someone half again thier mass. I love it I got slots already laid out in the Skye Rangers and Lyran and Donegal’s guard for this puppy

Saving a spot for it my Legion of Vega battalion. Mostly consists of mechs with a bad reputation (deserved or not). Since some refer to the Whitworth as the “Worthless”, I figured it would be a good addition.

I'd put it in a lance with a Catapult CPLT-K2K when we get the Gray Death Legion ForcePack
