This "Michael" movie is just INCREDIBLE!!! Jaafar really DOES resemble and sound like him from back then! Also this movie has shown us things that we didn't see happen with Michael back then in the past biopic movie "The Jacksons: An American Dream" from 1992.

50:36 Because Michael Jackson was a pioneer of understanding the power of mystery, becoming extremely reclusive at the peak of his career. He became as rare as a big foot sighting, or a UFO sighting. His music and name were any and everywhere, making him a larger then life being, almost like a mythological being. Sadly this also gave birth to countless media hoaxes because of how desperate people were to learn more about him, like him sleeping in oxygen chambers, him and Diana Ross being the same person, buying the elephant man’s bones, changing his skin color by taking donated skin from corpses and later in his life more demeaning and defamatory things. Anyways, when his fans were able to buy front row spots to see this bigger than life image in real life, add the excitement of seeing his dancing and hearing his singing live, was too much for people, specially girls, with as much as 5,000 faints every night on tour. A trait EXCLUSIVE to Michael Jackson. The King of Pop

I saw this in theaters twice, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. Having been a Michael Jackson fan for 10 years, I was super ecstatic when this movie was first announced. Jaafar Jackson definitely channeled his uncle to a literal T. From his singing, his dancing, and even his speaking… perfection. Some major historical facts were altered, portrayed incorrectly, or skipped over (including their upbringings as Jehovah’s Witnesses) for the sake of driving the story of the film. • During the Regal Theatre performance in 1968, Suzanne de Passe did play a part in the Jackson 5 signing with Motown, but she wasn’t the one who discovered them. It was Bobby Taylor of the group Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers after the Jacksons opened for them at the show, and helped them get an audition for Motown. Plus, they didn’t sing “Never Can Say Goodbye” for Motown; they wouldn’t record that song until a year or two later. They actually sang “I Got the Feeling” by James Brown. • Bubbles didn’t come into the picture until a couple of years after Thriller was released, as Bubbles was born in 1983, whereas in the movie he was adopted in 1981. • And one of the major talking points was the omission of some of the other siblings: eldest daughter Rebbie, youngest son Randy, and, most notably, Janet. Janet said she kindly declined to be depicted for the film; Halle Bailey was cast to play her.
