Tenshi's half-eaten corndog

This is a very interesting episode to have heard on April 13th 2024! Love the show so far... many episodes to go until I catch up...

Fantastic episode. I'm a relatively new listener, so forgive me if this is something you've already done, but I would be very interested in hearing you elaborate on the CIA infiltration/experimentation within the LAPD/CPD/other police departments. In general, it seems like the growing awareness and anger about the influence of the military on police weaponry and tactics within the U.S. isn't matched by a similar outrage toward the influence of intelligence agencies (Jon Burge/Homan Square, TigerSwan, etc.), and an ep that examined that relationship could be illuminating.

any books that go into detail about the whole “flying horse in corpses” thing?
