Hey, guys.

So, right now I am writing dialogues for the game. And I have a problem. I can't think of a phrase that describes having sex, but sound like it belongs in a fantasy or medieval world. So far, I only came with: "to lay with a man". Do you have any ideas? Phrases that describe specific sexual acts are welcome too.

"Making the beast with two backs" -- from Othello Sheathe his dagger, or sheathe his sword, or wield his sword (I guess that one would be more solo) Another one from Shakespeare: "This woman’s an easy glove, my lord; she goes off and on at pleasure." Give Someone A Green Gown -- means to have sex outdoors in the grass "Make Feet For Children's Stockings" -- specifically for baby-making Shaking Of The Sheets -- a nice straightforward one A nice ancient one: The Service Of Venus

Thanks for suggestions, but I am looking for a phrase that regular people would use in a day-to-day conversation. For example: Player: Your job is to have sex with our clients. Slave No way I am going to have sex with a stranger. Now I want to replace "having sex" with something that doesn't sound modern.

"Share my bed with a man" "Keep him warm at night" "Invite a man into my bed" "Give myself to a man" "Whore myself out to a man" "Spend the night with a man" "Spread my legs for a man"

Of course, you can replace "my" for "she" or "her"

Cool. I will definitely use some of this. Thanks. How about "a bed" instead of "my bed"? "My bed" sound like a long time deal.

You could just replace 'have sex with' with 'bed'.

"To bed" would work, like Kenneth mentioned. Or even just "Let me take you to bed". And I have even seen simply "Bed" can be used as a verb, especially in a more middle ages context. Like in the movie "Kinght's Tale" someone says "Bed him. Bed him good"

Also, Game of Thrones had no problem with just using "fuck" in a fantasy setting.
