Year-end Update 2023! (Patreon)

2023 is ending soon and it's time for me again to thank you and tell you how much i appreciated your support! you have helped me a lot with covering insurance costs and affording groceries. your patronage is a a huge relief not only financially, but also mentally and emotionally <3 

that being said, the year was quite the rocky road. social struggles, artistic struggles, dealing with piracy and not to mention the AIpocalypse. i know a new year isn't automatically a reset, but man do i wish for some of that shit to change and be a thing of the past. i hope it's gonna be a better year for everyone, but especially a better year for my art friends and artists in general. 

speaking of change...

like i mentioned in the previous update post for various reasons i'm gonna switch my focus to commissions next year, instead of maintaining this page. meaning, this patreon page of mine becomes an archive. no promised updates in form of monthly drops of illustrations and sketches, no regularity with fanart and original art, no guaranteed character polls, no confirmed exclusive art either. 

now, that doesn't mean i won't do any art outside of comms. it's just that i'll put the "content creator machine grindset" to rest and take my time with art, focussing on having fun with it instead of developing a poisonous relationship to it. 

maybe some of you wonder then "why don't you close your page if you stop working on it?". because i know people would still like to continue to support me, not with the expectation to receive new stuff, but with the intention to keep me and my art alive. 

so with that being said, i hope this update is clear enough. pledging will obviously still give you access to all my previous art and the discord server <3

i'll also extend the no billing time into january 2024 since this update is only now set in stone at the very end of december. that'll give you enough time to notice this update and to decide if you wanna continue to support me despite less activity or not)
